Job summary

This role hands you the multimedia production process from concept through final delivery, staying current with industry standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or four years of related experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
• 2 years experience in videography/photography.
• 2 years experience with camera/sound/editing equipment and software.

Responsibilities

• Researches industry trends to propose new ideas and training opportunities.
• Assists events and activities planning and production as needed.

Job description

The Multimedia specialist is responsible for creating video, photography and presentations to support the strategic priorities of Baptist Health Care. Working with client liaisons in the marketing department, this position creates visually engaging media presentations for internal and external audiences that align with the Mission, Vision, Values, Culture and Brand of the organization. This position is responsible for multimedia production process, knowledge and practice of current industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Performs video and photography production to be used for internal communications, marketing, and public relations.
• Works with team on video and photography coordination, working closely with other members of the marketing department.
• Develops presentations using the current software platforms including but not limited to PPT, Vimeo, and Prezi. Provides final approved video to client lead for publishing.
• Works with marketing team to plan annual video production schedule that supports strategic goals, including those for service lines and administrative departments.
• Stays abreast of new technologies in order to facilitate the use of modern presentation platforms.
• Works with marketing team to generate and produce ideas for corporate messaging/presentations.
• Ensures that objectives are met within budgetary guidelines and deadlines; codes invoices for accounting.
• Researches industry trends to recommend and implement new ideas. Alerts leaders to training opportunities.
• Supports events and activities planning and production through creative production. Participates as appropriate.
• Develops and maintains good working relationships within the department, with outside staff and outside entities.
• Assist in other duties as assigned to support the operational needs of the department and organization.
• May be required to remain on campus immediately before, during, and after severe weather and/or disasters.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree Communication, Related field Required or
• Four years of related experience may be considered in lieu of degree Required

Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities

• Proficient in video, photography and presentation production programs needed to create/develop collaterals.
• Excellent organizational, planning and time management skills, ability to multitask several projects simultaneously.
• Use strong creative and technical editing skills and motion graphics with Adobe Creative Suite.
• Team oriented with the ability to work on deadline with creative input from others.
• Ability to see assigned events through to their logical conclusion, which require schedule flexibility to accommodate evening and weekend work.
• Demonstrated storytelling ability and editorial skills.
• Strong aesthetic and technical abilities in lighting and staging, both field and studio.
• Excellent video/photo shooting skills that demonstrate creative composition and detailed technical ability.
• Proficiency with professional sound recording techniques and equipment.
• Ability to accommodate multiple revisions and changing corporate requests.
• Understands and adheres to licensing requirements when using audio or visual materials.
• Superior video editing skills with close attention to post-production details such as visual effects and appropriate audio.
