This position is responsible for creating, editing, and delivering engaging multimedia content that promotes the college's academic programs, student success stories, workforce training opportunities, special events, and institutional initiatives. The Multimedia Specialist will support the college's strategic marketing and communication goalsthroughphotography,videography,socialmediamanagement,digitalmarketing,and content creation.
Qualifications
- Associate's degree from a regionally or nationally accredited institution in Multimedia, Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or related field of study required. Bachelor's preferred.
- Five years paid experience in multimedia production, marketing, communications, digital content creation or related discipline required.

Responsibilities
- Collaborate with marketing, communications, and creative teams to develop multimedia strategies and creative concepts.
- Capture, edit, and produce high-quality photography and videography for marketing, advertising, recruitment, public relations, and institutional communications.
- Maintain and organize digital media assets, including photographs, videos, and marketing materials.
- Create and manage content for the college's social media platforms, ensuring consistent branding, messaging, and audience engagement.
- Manage multiple projects from concept development to final delivery, including planning shoots, recording audio, editing video, and creating motion graphics.
- Collaborate with faculty, staff, students, and community partners to identify and promote compelling stories and college achievements.
- Monitor social media trends, digital communication best practices, and emerging marketing technologies to enhance content quality and engagement.
- Ensure all marketing content adheres to college branding, accessibility, and communication standards.
- Support the development and implementation of integrated marketing and public relations campaigns.
- Assist in writing and distributing news releases, feature stories, newsletters, reports, website content, and other marketing materials.
- Assist in the planning, promotion, and coverage of college events, ceremonies, and special activities.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
