FOX13 Memphis is looking for a Content Creator to tell the stories that matter across broadcast, digital, streaming, and social platforms. You will shoot and edit video, create digital content, and help drive daily news coverage from the field and newsroom.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in journalism, communications, or a related field preferred.
Strong writing, editing, and storytelling abilities for digital and broadcast.
Familiarity with CMS platforms, SEO, and audience engagement.

Responsibilities

Create compelling video, digital, and social content for broadcast, FOX13Memphis.com, streaming platforms, and social channels.
Shoot and edit high-quality video in the field and gather sound for multiple platforms.
Write and publish accurate, engaging digital stories using AP style and SEO best practices.
Monitor scanners, social media, news wires, and community sources for breaking news opportunities.
Assist newsroom coordination by updating stories and supporting editorial planning.
Collaborate with content team and newsroom managers on visually engaging stories.
Produce platform-specific content for TV, web, mobile, and social media.
Maintain cameras and editing equipment.
Adhere to journalistic ethics and newsroom policies while representing FOX13 professionally.
Adapt quickly to breaking news while meeting deadlines.
