Job summary

WGEM-TV/Gray Media, Inc. is seeking a multimedia journalist to join our Emmy Award-winning news team in Quincy, IL.

You will shoot, write, and edit content for our digital and broadcast platforms, delivering live storytelling during newscasts when teamed with a photojournalist. Qualified candidates will have a passion for storytelling, strong news gathering skills, and the ability to work across multiple platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in journalism, communications, or related field.
• Experience with news and video editing software is a benefit.
• A valid driver's license is a must.
• Solid technical and computer skills, and understanding of how content is turned on multiple media platforms.
• Ability to handle moderate stress regularly, meet daily and long-range deadlines, and work well with others in a team atmosphere
