The E.W. Scripps Company’s WGBA in Green Bay is seeking a Multimedia Journalist to serve as a Neighborhood reporter embedded in the Fox Cities community. You will develop sources, break stories, and manage on-air and digital storytelling across platforms.
You’ll be expected to write, edit, and package reports, live from the scene when needed, and contribute to digital landing pages while building strong community ties in Northeast Wisconsin.
WGBA, the NBC affiliate owned by The E.W. Scripps Company in Green Bay, Wisconsin, is in search of its next Multimedia Journalist. NBC 26 is looking for a Neighborhood reporter based in the Fox Cities.
This is not your average reporting job. As a Neighborhood reporter, you’ll embed in your community and dig beyond the sensational. It’s a unique opportunity in the news to build true connections and relationships that lead to incredible storytelling. Our leadership team includes an executive reporter who will work with you day in and day out to grow as a storyteller and journalist.
Our Fox Cities reporter will live and work in Northeast Wisconsin’s fastest-growing community, anchored by the city of Appleton. A hub of business and education, Appleton hosts one of the largest annual music festivals in the state and is situated on beautiful Lake Winnebago. Fans of nature have quick access to any outdoor activity they desire. Or drive just north to see the Green Bay Packers in action on Sunday. The Fox Cities has something for everyone – from young professionals to families – and with a low cost of living, it’s an ideal place for career growth and personal fulfillment.
