Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Journalism or related field.
• Minimum two years’ experience in news reporting (depending on market size).
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
• Flexibility to work any shift.

Responsibilities

• Produce, report, shoot, write, voice, edit and feed news content for all platforms.
• Report news stories for broadcast with background and details.
• Arrange interviews and gather information; research background information.
• Pitch stories to newsroom managers; develop story ideas from leads.
• Shoot and edit news events and reports; present on all platforms.
