Job summary

Rincon Broadcasting Group seeks a driven Spanish Language Multimedia Journalist to join KUNW's award-winning news team in Pasco, WA. You will shoot, write, edit, and present stories across daily newscasts and digital platforms.

Ideal candidates are fluent in Spanish, with strong storytelling skills, newsroom experience, and the ability to meet tight deadlines while engaging audiences on social media.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, or related field.
• 1-2 years of reporting experience preferred, but not required.
• Fluent in Spanish.
• Must be able to shoot and edit with non-linear editing software (Edius, Premier, or Final Cut Pro).
• Strong news judgement and storytelling skills.
• Ability to produce content under deadline pressure.
• Willingness to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Familiarity with AP style and newsroom content management systems is a plus.

We are looking for a driven, creative, and curious Spanish Language Multimedia Journalist to join our award-winning KUNW news team. The ideal candidate is a strong storyteller, great multi-tasker, deadline-drive, and eager to learn and grow. This is not a desk job – you will have to shoot, write, edit, and present compelling content across multiple platforms. We want someone who is eager to break stories, build sources, and embrace enterprise reporting. If you’re passionate about breaking news, and owning every story, we want to talk with you!
