The Multimedia Director leads the full production cycle, from concept and storyboarding through field cinematography, audio capture, post-production, and asset management, often in fast-paced shipboard and field environments.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Direct and capture broadcast-quality field and studio audio using lavalier systems, shotgun microphones, and multi-channel external recorders
  • Lead post-production in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects, including sequencing, sound design, noise reduction, EQ balancing, custom motion graphics, and color correction and grading
  • Establish and maintain digital asset management practices, including file organization, metadata tagging, standardized naming conventions, and archiving for all raw and final photo and video assets
  • Make real-time technical and creative decisions in high-visibility and shipboard environments, delivering same-day and real-time news cycle turnarounds
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree in Film Production, Broadcasting, Fine Arts, Graphic Design, or a closely related creative field; OR four (4) years of equivalent professional experience with a professional portfolio and industry experience
  • Active Secret security clearance
  • Professional portfolio demonstrating creative direction, cinematography, lighting, audio capture, and post-production work
  • Expert proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects, including motion graphics and color correction and grading
