Job summary

IQAir is seeking a Multimedia Designer III for its North American headquarters in La Mirada, CA. The role covers marketing collateral, branding, and interactive projects across mobile and web platforms.

You will craft visual layouts, wireframes, and intuitive site functionality while collaborating closely with the Lead Multimedia Designer and Graphic Design team. You’ll leverage UX/UI trends, maintain production files, and contribute to video content for campaigns.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design, Marketing or related field.
• 5 years of professional experience as an interactive designer creating engaging, user-friendly designs for large-scale projects.
• Proficiency with Photoshop, Illustrator, Keyshot and wire framing tools.
• Experience with UI/UX for web and mobile applications.
• Strong typography, layout and information design skills.

Responsibilities

• Create and execute marketing campaigns with the Lead Multimedia Designer and team.
• Design visual layouts, graphics and wireframes for multiple platforms (mobile and web).
• Develop intuitive site functionality and navigation across properties.
• Produce concept-to-final artwork for print, display and web projects.
• Assist video production including shooting, editing and post-production.

For our North American headquarters, located in La Mirada, California, we have an immediate opening for a Multimedia Designer III.

Summary

The Multimedia Designer III position encompasses design and marketing work ranging from, but not limited, designing in-house marketing collateral and print advertisement to branding to interactive projects. This position is responsible for creating and delivering visual layouts, graphic designs and wireframes for multiple properties across multiple platforms such as mobile and web.

This position has the ability to develop creative material from concept to final artwork and has a solid understanding of how to design intuitive site functionality and navigation. The Multimedia Designer III will work directly with the Lead Multimedia Designer and the Graphic Design team.

Responsibilities

• Work with the Lead Multimedia Designer and/or his designee to create and execute marketing campaigns for the company
• Utilize the latest UX, UI and related design trends such as fluid, responsive and parallax layouts
• Create and deliver visual layouts, graphic designs and wireframes for multiple properties across multiple platforms such as mobile and web
• Design intuitive site functionality and navigation
• Conceptualize, strategize and create cutting-edge designs through to final execution, utilizing expert knowledge of layout principles, across a variety of platforms (print, display, branded environment, events and web design)
• Create website wireframes and understand the fundamentals required to getting a site launched with basic website coding knowledge
• Design intui tive site functionality and navigation
• Coordinate timing of projects with internal teams and communicate project progress
• Assist with video production, including video shooting, editing and post-production, to create engaging content for marketing campaigns, websites, social media and other digital platforms
• Maintain production files to increase job efficiency and ensure that file and elements are easy to locate
• Other special projects as assigned

Qualifications

• Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills; must be able to communicate in English both verbally and in written form
• Passionate about interactive and development trends
• Strong graphic design skills in typography, layout, composition, color theory and information design and production management
• Strong graphic application knowledge, including PhotoShop, Illustrator, Keyshot and wire framing tools
• UI/UX for web and mobile applications
• Advanced skillset in Adobe Creative Cloud and Sketch
• Experience working in E-Commerce and a strong understanding of use-centric design methodologies
• Creative ability to work with limited access to photography and design assets
• Understanding of Agile and/or Scrum style of project management
• 5 years of professional experience as an interactive designer creating engaging, user-friendly designs for large scale projects
• Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design, Marketing or a related field
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
• Familiarity with Wrike is a plus
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check

May be required to attend and participate in professional development activities both in and outside the company to stay abreast of new developments and best practices.

What IQAir offers

At IQAir, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. The base pay range for this position is $80,000 - $85,000 and most new hires start at $80,000.
