Job summary

EMERGE is hiring a Multimedia Designer to create compelling visual communications across print and digital channels. You will work with Marketing, Business Development, and attorneys to translate business goals into polished concepts, including graphics, videos, and interactive content.

The role emphasizes storytelling, motion design, and video production, with opportunities to impact the firm’s brand across social media, web, events, and thought leadership materials.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of professional multimedia design experience in corporate, agency, or professional services environments.
• Bachelor's or BFA degree in Graphic Design, Multimedia Design, Digital Media, or related field preferred
• Expert proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud applications (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, After Effects, Premiere Pro)
• Strong PowerPoint/Word skills with advanced presentation design capabilities
• Hands-on experience with motion graphics, animation, video and audio editing
• Strong visual design fundamentals translating briefs into polished concepts across media
• Familiarity with HTML/CSS, interactive design tools (Ceros, Flipsnack, Miro, Vuture)

Responsibilities

• Conceptualize and produce multimedia content across print and digital channels.
• Develop motion graphics and short-form animated content for social media, websites, events, and marketing.
• Produce and edit video and audio content (interviews, podcasts, thought leadership, internal comms).
• Develop storyboards and visual narratives aligned to marketing objectives.
• Design polished presentations, interactive PDFs, ads, reports, signage, and branded templates.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Business Development, attorneys, and stakeholders to deliver materials.
• Champion the firm's visual brand by maintaining consistency and monitoring design trends.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of professional multimedia design experience within an in-house corporate, agency, post-production studio, or professional services environment
• Bachelor's or BFA degree in Graphic Design, Multimedia Design, Digital Media, Visual Communications, Communications, or a related field preferred
• Expert proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, After Effects, and Premiere Pro
• Expert proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint and Word, with strong advanced presentation design capabilities
• Hands-on experience with motion graphics, animation, and video and audio editing
• Strong graphic design fundamentals with the ability to translate business objectives and creative briefs into polished visual concepts across multiple media
• Familiarity with HTML/CSS, interactive design, Ceros, Flipsnack, Miro, or Vuture is a plus

Responsibilities

• Conceptualize and produce multimedia content across print and digital channels, including graphics, videos, animations, social media content, event materials, interactive experiences, and marketing collateral
• Develop motion graphics and short-form animated content for social media, websites, events, presentations, and other digital marketing initiatives
• Produce and edit video and audio content, including attorney interviews, podcasts, thought leadership pieces, and internal communications
• Develop storyboards, creative concepts, and visual narratives that translate marketing objectives and business needs into engaging multimedia experiences
• Design polished presentations, interactive PDFs, advertisements, reports, signage, charts, graphics, templates, and other branded materials
• Collaborate with Marketing, Business Development, attorneys, and other internal stakeholders to understand project goals, develop creative concepts, and deliver completed materials
• Serve as a champion of the firm's visual brand by maintaining consistency and quality across creative work, monitoring emerging design trends, and identifying opportunities to strengthen visual communications
