Job description

Wonder produces a high volume of creative across channels for mid‑market B2B clients in manufacturing, professional services, and technology. The Multimedia Designer exists to keep that output moving, fast, on‑brand, and built to perform. This is a hands‑on production seat for a versatile early‑career designer who can move between a social graphic, a short animation, a WordPress update, and an email build in the same afternoon without losing quality or momentum. The person who thrives here is naturally curious, hungry to grow under an experienced Art Director, and genuinely excited to use AI to do more and better work.

SUCCESSFUL OUTCOMES
  • Reliable creative throughput: Deliver a steady stream of polished design assets across formats (digital, social, web, email, video) that meet brand standards and require minimal rework. The team can hand you a brief and trust it gets done well.
  • Brand consistency across channels: Apply each client’s visual system accurately and consistently, so every asset looks like it belongs, whether it lives on a website, in an inbox, or in a feed.
  • Figma fluency that speeds the team up: Work natively in Figma to build, organize, and iterate files in a way that makes collaboration and handoff easy for the Art Director and the rest of the creative team.
  • Social and digital assets that perform: Produce social graphics, light animations, and short‑form video edits that hold attention and support campaign goals, not just decoration.
  • Web and email execution: Manage WordPress content updates and build email marketing assets accurately, so client campaigns launch on time and render correctly.
  • AI that raises the quality bar: Actively fold AI tools into your daily workflow to make the work better, not just faster. You use AI to push craft further, explore more directions, and elevate the final product, and you constantly look for new ways to apply it.
  • Visible growth under the Art Director: Take direction well, apply feedback quickly, and steadily expand what you can own, becoming a more capable and independent designer over time.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Graphic Design and Digital Assets
    • Design digital assets, social media graphics, and marketing collateral across client brands.
    • Build and maintain organized, handoff‑ready files in Figma and Adobe CC.
    • Adapt and resize creative across formats and channels while holding brand standards.
    • Apply established brand systems accurately across every deliverable.
  • Motion and Video
    • Produce light animation and motion graphics for social and digital use.
    • Edit short‑form video for social platforms, web, and email.
    • Add captions, lower thirds, and basic branded motion elements.
  • Web and Email
    • Manage day‑to‑day content updates in WordPress (pages, blog posts, images, basic layout).
    • Build and lay out email marketing campaigns using brand templates.
    • QA assets across devices and inboxes before launch.
  • Collaboration and AI
    • Take creative direction from the Art Director and incorporate feedback efficiently.
    • Use AI tools to elevate the quality and range of the work.
    • Flag opportunities to improve speed, quality, or process.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • 1 to 3 years of professional design experience (agency or in‑house).
  • Strong Figma competency (required, this is non‑negotiable for the role).
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, and ideally After Effects and Premiere).
  • Demonstrated ability across graphic design, social media graphics, light animation, and video editing.
  • Hands‑on experience with WordPress content management.
  • Experience building or supporting email marketing campaigns.
  • A clear desire to leverage AI heavily in daily work; existing AI proficiency is a strong plus.
  • A portfolio showing range across digital, social, motion, and brand work (required).
CORE VALUES
  • Make It Happen: You work within tight timelines and shifting priorities and still find a way to ship quality work. Constraints don’t stall you.
  • Be Curious: You actively hunt for new tools, techniques, and AI workflows, and you bring them back to the team. You want to get better every week.
  • Be Generous: You share what you learn, pitch in when the team is slammed, and assume good intent from teammates and clients.
  • Be Courageous: You speak up with ideas, ask the questions others won’t, and take creative risks even when you’re the most junior person in the room.
  • Outshine: You sweat the details. Your files are clean, your assets are buttoned up, and your work reflects care and professionalism.
BENEFITS
  • Co‑work Membership
  • Unlimited Coffee
  • Free Parking
  • Beer on Tap
