Job summary

Grace Communion International is seeking a Digital Content Developer onsite in Charlotte, NC to create deliverables such as video, podcasts, and graphics. The role emphasizes the design and technical aspects of producing digital content and supporting the GCI vision through storytelling across platforms.

You will collaborate with the Media Team, shoot and edit video, manage digital assets, and coordinate with leaders at home and abroad to extend viewership and relevance of materials.

Qualifications

• Requires GCI church membership.
• Bachelor's degree plus 2 years of professional experience in video or motion picture arts, marketing, communications, journalism or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proficient in MS Office and Google Apps.
• Proficient in Wordpress CMS and multiple social media platforms.
• Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro CC and other Adobe products.
• Demonstrated ability to produce video from concept to finished product.
• Experience using video production equipment, including camera, sound, and lighting.
• Knowledge of production safety standards and risk assessments.
• Working knowledge of image manipulation software and motion graphics software.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with Media Team to plan, develop, and distribute projects.
• Produces, directs, shoots, and edits video content across studio, event, and promotional footage.
• Creates and delivers digital media projects from concept to finish across multiple channels and audiences.
• Edits and controls the quality of digital denominational communication projects.
• Maintains digital archive of produced materials.
• Communicates with leaders domestically and internationally to develop content and strengthen viewership.
