Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree or equivalent required; Bachelor’s preferred in marketing or media.
• Bachelor’s degree and experience in marketing or media development preferred.
• Valid Texas Driver’s License required.
• CJIS background check when assigned to Longview Police Department.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate city messaging via social media to inform and educate the public.
• Provide customer service through social media and manage publications.
• Assist with design, development and maintenance of the City’s website and intranet.
• Manage multimedia design, web content and video production for City communications.
• Create and edit marketing campaigns and promotional materials for City departments.
• Coordinate events and city communications efforts across divisions.
