Job summary

Seniornest Homecare in New Jersey is seeking compassionate, reliable caregivers – CHHA and CNA – for hourly and live-in cases in Fair Lawn and surrounding counties. A nurse’s supervision is available to support you on the job.

The agency offers 24/7 support, flexible schedules, and opportunities for immediate placement. Live-in and hourly shifts are available within Bergen and Passaic Counties, with ongoing training and staff backing you up in the field.

Qualifications

Current New Jersey CHHA or CNA license in good standing.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
At least 6 months of caregiving experience (facility or home care).
Current PPD test (within the last 12 months) and MMR vaccination record.
Ability to read and follow a care plan and complete ADLs safely and professionally.

Responsibilities

Provide personal care and assistance with ADLs such as bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and ambulation according to the care plan.
Offer companionship, conversation, and emotional support to clients in their homes.
Assist with light housekeeping related to client care (tidying, laundry, meal assistance) as directed by the care plan.
Follow the client’s individualized care plan and communicate changes in condition to the office or supervising nurse.
Maintain a safe, clean environment and use appropriate infection control and PPE procedures.
