Job summary

Catholic Charities Archdiocese of Washington seeks a Multilingual Case Worker to provide direct case management and support for eligible clients under various funded programs. You will conduct assessments, link clients to services, and help develop individualized goal plans while maintaining strong community partnerships.

Requirements include an AA degree, 2 years of case work experience, driving, and proficiency in English plus two additional languages (French, Amharic, Spanish or Dari/Pashto).

Qualifications

• AA degree required.
• 2 years’ experience as a case worker.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English and at least two of: French, Amharic, Spanish, or Dari/Pashto.
• Driving is required with a valid driver's license and clean record.
• Computers/PC-based systems experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform individual case management, including screening eligibility and assigning clients to programs.
• Conduct needs assessments and connect clients with appropriate resources.
• Make referrals to providers for benefits, services, and education opportunities.
• Develop goal plans with clients and maintain ongoing contact to evaluate progress.
• Educate, refer, register, and enroll eligible clients in SNAP benefits as needed.
• Lead group services with trainings, classes, and materials preparation.
• Engage with community partners and attend outreach events.
• Maintain accurate client data and prepare reports.
