Job summary

Progressive Insurance is seeking a senior multiline representative to join our claims team. You will investigate and resolve complex specialty lines losses within a territory, analyze liability, and interpret coverages to determine appropriate settlements for our customers.

You will collaborate with repair service providers and negotiate settlements, leveraging experience in appraisal/estimatics or claims handling, while upholding Progressive standards and protecting policyholders' interests.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of relevant work experience with two years appraisal/estimatics or claims handling.
• Associate's degree and minimum four years of relevant work experience with two years appraisal/estimatics or claims handling.
• Bachelor's degree or higher with at least two years appraisal/estimatics or claims handling.
• Valid driver's license and auto insurance, with compliance to Progressive policies.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and resolve complex specialty lines losses within a territory.
• Analyze liability and coverage interpretation to determine appropriate settlements.

As a senior multiline representative on our claims team, you’ll be responsible for investigating and resolving complex specialty lines losses within a territory. Day-to-day duties will involve investigating and analyzing the extent of our liability for property or injury losses, coverage analysis and interpretation. Additionally, you’ll collaborate and negotiate with repair service providers to effectively and efficiently settle claims for our customers.

Minimum Qualifications

• A minimum of five years relevant work experience with two years appraisal/estimatics or claims handling
• Associate's degree and a minimum of four years relevant work experience with two years appraisal/estimatics or claims handling
• Bachelor's degree or higher and a minimum of two years appraisal/estimatics or claims handling
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance along with compliance with Progressive’s driving standards and/or policies

Compensation

• $73,000 - $85,000/year
• Gainshare annual cash incentive payment up to 24% of your eligible earnings based on company performance

• Requires long periods of standing (e.g., mailroom).

• Required to climb, balance, stoop, crouch and crawl.
