Job summary

Halifax Health ExpressCare is seeking a Speech Pathologist to evaluate pediatric through geriatric patients and determine appropriate speech, language, and oropharyngeal intervention, initiating assessments and therapy per physician orders.

Candidates must have a Master's in Speech-Language Pathology, excellent communication and organizational skills, and the ability to work independently while maintaining confidentiality across a diverse patient population.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients to determine need for speech/language/oral pharyngeal intervention.
• Initiate proper assessment and therapy per physician orders as indicated.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and coordinate with care teams.
• Prioritize workloads and manage multiple cases across age groups.
