Job summary

Lockheed Martin in Palmdale is seeking a Production Control leader to manage planning, material management, and MRP transactions across Make, Buy, BOM, MPS, Warehousing and Shipping. You will oversee teams in Replenishment Center Operations, Tool Services, Project Tooling and Carpenter Shop, driving inventory optimization and cost reduction.

These may include but not limited to, Make, Buy, Bill of Material (BOM) Planning, Master Production Scheduling (MPS), Warehousing and Shipping. Over sees production systems integrity and drives inventory optimization to minimize cost. Responsible for coordinating subordinate employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions. Selected individual will become part of the Production Control Support Services Management team in Palmdale. Individual will be responsible for leading a group of subordinate employees in the Replenishment Center Operations (RCO), Tool Services, Project Tooling and Carpenter Shop teams providing support to all manufacturing areas in Palmdale and local feeder sites. Individual must be a self-starter demonstrating strong interpersonal skills and have the ability to lead and direct subordinates. Candidate must have a strong customer focus, and demonstrated experience in managing multiple projects/customers concurrently.

Basic Qualifications

• Supervisory or Management experience
• Experience with Shop Floor Control, Production Control, Logistics or Inventory Management
• Working knowledge of SAP (MRP) & or equivalent ERP

• Relevant Information Technology skills, such as data analytics and reporting

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $100200.00 - $186200.00

PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
