Job summary

Outpost Food Truck in Longmont, CO seeks a versatile Food Truck employee who can manage on-truck operations and assist with in-house line cook and prep duties. Responsibilities include preparing and portioning menu items, maintaining sanitation, stocking stations, and assisting with closing procedures.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in kitchen preparation and cooking.
• At least 6 months experience in a similar capacity.
• Must be able to communicate clearly with managers, kitchen and dining room personnel.
• Be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 40 pounds.
• Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 9 hours).
• Must have a valid driver's license with at least 3 years of driving experience.
• Must have a good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations for the Food Truck and assist with line cooks and prep.
• Learn recipes to prepare the menu accurately and efficiently.
• Ensure quality of products and adherence to standard portions and procedures.
• Stock and maintain sufficient levels of food at line stations.
• Maintain a clean, sanitary work area and ensure proper plate presentation.
• Close the food truck properly and follow closing checklists.
• Attend scheduled meetings and contribute improvement ideas.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Kitchen Manager or manager-on-duty.
