Job summary

INH Properties in Saint Cloud, MN, is seeking a full-time Painter to maintain and enhance our apartment communities. You will own painting projects from prep to finish, coordinating with the community manager to meet painting requirements across properties.

The role is mid-level, requires prior painting experience, a high school diploma, and a valid driver’s license. On-call hours apply; benefits include medical/dental/vision insurance and PTO.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• A valid Driver's License.
• Previous experience with painting.
• Ability to work independently and in a team setting.
• Drywalling including painting and carpentry.
• Working knowledge of light plumbing and electrical including outlets, switches and light fixtures.

Responsibilities

• Communicate painting requirements with the community manager.
• Operate equipment such as airless spray equipment, scaffolding, paint brushes/rollers.
• Mask surfaces to protect trim, floors, furniture, and fixtures.
• Prepare surfaces by washing, filling holes, and sanding until smooth.
• Apply primer and sealers to surfaces for paint adhesion.
• Mix and match paints, stains, and finishes to specs.
• Apply paints and finishes using brushes, rollers, or sprayers.
• Maintain inventory of painting supplies and tarps.
• Remove and reinstall fixtures as necessary.
