DHI Communitiesis currently looking for a Multifamily-Project Engineerin our Construction Department . The right candidate will be responsible for assisting Project Managers and Superintendents in coordinating the activities of projects to ensure cost, schedule, document control and quality standards are met.

Work to obtain all necessary permits as requested
High School Diploma or equivalent
One (1) to Three (3) years related experience and/or training, one year of construction experience is required
Working under the direction of the Project Manager and Superintendent, pursue appropriate tasks in order to develop necessary skills and knowledge of construction on path to becoming a Superintendent or Project Manager
Must have a valid driver's license
Ability to utilize DRH Construction applications on a smart phone, tablet, or laptop
Must have good working knowledge of construction management theory, practice and have a good knowledge of construction business software, including scheduling, estimating, spreadsheets and work processing
Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written oral form or via DRH applications
Proficiency with MS Office and email
Bachelor's Degree in construction or related field preferred
