Job summary

Chamberlin + Associates, a family-owned property management company with 65+ years in the multifamily industry, is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep our communities running smoothly. You will handle day-to-day work orders, unit turns, emergency repairs, and preventive maintenance across building systems, delivering a high-quality resident experience.

The role requires hands-on skills in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry, plus a team-minded, service-oriented approach.

Qualifications

Experience with plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, drywall, and carpentry.
Able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical labor.
On-call after-hours rotation.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

Complete work orders promptly per company standards.
Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, drywall, and carpentry.
Respond to emergency maintenance calls after hours on a rotation.
Assist with unit inspections and move-in/move-out repairs.
Perform preventive maintenance on building systems and equipment.
Maintain pools, mechanical rooms, and common areas.
Inspect buildings and identify maintenance or safety concerns.
Support curb appeal and property cleanliness.
Prepare rent-ready units on schedule.
Assist with property projects and capital improvements.
Maintain tools and shop; follow safety policies and OSHA guidelines.
Communicate with residents professionally and provide excellent service.
Work as a team to meet maintenance goals.
