Job summary

YMP Real Estate Management is seeking a Maintenance Technician for an on-site role at a Class C multifamily community in Louisville, KY. You will perform skilled trades, manage work orders in Yardi Voyager 8, and ensure timely make-ready and repairs to support leasing and resident satisfaction.

This role requires 3+ years of maintenance experience, strong multitasking, and the ability to work evenings or weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• High School education or equivalent.
• 3+ years of experience as a Maintenance Technician in property management.
• Experience at a Class C property with workforce housing and Section 8 residents.
• Hands-on skills in painting, plumbing, appliance repair, and HVAC servicing.
• Knowledge of electrical, carpentry, and general appliance repair.
• EPA certification preferred; HVAC certification a plus.
• Experience with Yardi Voyager 8 for work orders and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Perform skilled trades including painting, plumbing, HVAC, appliance repair and carpentry.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and building systems.
• Conduct make-ready processes and manage work orders in Yardi Voyager 8.
• Coordinate with Property Manager and Regional Facilities Manager on maintenance priorities.
• Provide excellent customer service and timely status updates to residents.
