Job summary

ARTISAN is seeking a Maintenance Technician to protect, maintain, and enhance community value and resident comfort. You will support the on-site team with HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and appliance repairs in a multifamily setting.

The role emphasizes safety, quality, and timely responses, with opportunities for growth through training and on-site collaboration across the Midwest. A valid driver’s license is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Proven maintenance experience in residential/commercial settings preferred.
• Proficiency in basic electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and appliance repair.

Responsibilities

• Maintain community buildings, equipment, and grounds to support resident satisfaction.
• Respond to work orders promptly, including after-hours on-call maintenance.
• Inspect units and common areas to proactively address issues.
• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
• Complete building repairs such as drywall, flooring, doors, windows, and hardware.
• Maintain pools/spas and safety equipment where applicable.
