Job summary

The Morgan Group seeks a dependable Maintenance Technician to support multiple properties, handle preventive and corrective work, and ensure safety and quality in common areas and units.

You will collaborate with the Lead Maintenance and vendors, perform diverse upkeep tasks, and contribute to resident satisfaction while following manuals and procedures. This full-time role offers solid benefits and growth opportunities within a 70+ property portfolio.

Qualifications

• Experience in building maintenance or property management.
• EPA certification is required for this role.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to MORGAN’s Maintenance, Emergency Procedures, Leasing and Marketing, Management and Operations manuals along with the Team Member Handbook.
• Provide maintenance tasks in a safe manner and offer customer service.
• Handle service requests, apartment turnovers and assist with outside vendors as assigned by the Lead Maintenance.
• Assist in various maintenance areas including plumbing, carpentry, appliance repair, electrical and heater maintenance.
• Maintain an organized work place and shop.
• Report parts or supplies that need to be ordered to the Lead Maintenance.
• Inventory supply shipments and give packing slips to the Community Manager.
• Report safety, property maintenance and unresolved issues to Lead Maintenance promptly.
• Assist in exterior and interior upkeep of the property.
• Maintain vehicles and pool/spa upkeep and lighting/trash on grounds.
• Comply with all training requirements for this position.
