Description

The Maintenance Supervisor performs repairs and routine preventative maintenance on mechanical equipment, utility systems, structures, and grounds, including electrical, plumbing, and HVAC repairs. This qualified individual supervises the maintenance team and relevant vendors related to maintenance, capital improvements, and physical property, such as landscaping.

They carry out various maintenance duties necessary to maintain and enhance the community's value. They work collaboratively with the maintenance staff to ensure the community meets the quality maintenance standards set by the management company. Additionally, they interact with residents and staff in a professional, courteous manner, maintaining a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

1. Complete preventative maintenance for residents.
2. Maintain records of completed projects and parts used.
3. Perform maintenance and installation of plumbing equipment for homes and offices.
4. Read and interpret electrical schematics, diagrams, blueprints, and wiring diagrams.
5. Test newly installed components to ensure proper function.

Qualifications

• HVAC Certified.
• Excellent communication skills and problem-solving abilities to serve a diverse customer base.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Technical or trade school attendance for plumbing certification.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Compensation

$28 - $33 hourly
