Job summary

New Urban Residential is seeking a Leasing Associate for Evolve at Parkway in Concord, NC. You will guide prospects from first inquiry through move-in, conduct tours, collect applications, and coordinate leases with the Community Manager.

You will promote leasing goals, prepare move-in packets, and maintain accurate data in Yardi, while staying informed about market rents and competing communities. This on-site role requires weekend availability.

Qualifications

• At least one year in leasing, sales, hospitality, retail, or another customer facing role.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Clear, professional written and verbal communication.
• Comfort with email, word processing, and property management software.
• Basic math to calculate prorated rent, concessions, and deposits.
• Availability to work weekends.
• A valid driver license, a satisfactory driving record, and reliable transportation for market surveys and outreach.
• Ability to pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Respond to phone, email, and online leasing inquiries promptly, and follow up with every prospect on the community follow up schedule.
• Tour prospects through available apartment homes and amenities, and explain the lease and all addenda clearly.
• Meet the leasing, closing, and traffic conversion goals set by the Community Manager.
• Take applications, collect fees and deposits (we do not accept cash), and submit every application for screening.
• Prepare leases, addenda, and move in packets, and confirm each apartment is inspected and released before keys are issued.
• Keep prospect, application, and lease data current in Yardi.
• Shop competing communities and stay current on their rents, concessions, and availability.
• Support renewals, resident events, online reviews, and outreach to local employers and businesses.
• Enter maintenance requests and keep the leasing office, model, and tour path in show condition.
