Job summary

The Garrett Companies is seeking a Project Engineer in Denver to join our award-winning construction and development teams. You will help bring projects from vision to reality, learning every build stage, coordinating with field personnel, and ensuring on-time, on-budget completion.

In this hands-on role you will use Procore, Blue Beam Revu, Timberscan, and Sage 300, travel monthly to sites, and collaborate with the Development and Construction teams to keep projects on brand and on schedule.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in Construction and/or related field or 3-5 years experience in construction.
• Must be detail oriented and highly organized.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Analytical skills to forecast trends and challenges.

Responsibilities

• Learn and utilize company software (Procore, MS Office, Blue Beam).
• Travel to project sites at least monthly to monitor progress and quality.
• Coordinate with team to support project success and schedule.
• Ensure field personnel have tools to direct site activities and meet plans.
• Prepare and maintain project schedules and manage to completion.
• Identify issues early and help keep construction on track.
• Coordinate with utilities, vendors, and municipal reviews.
• Maintain organized project files and assist with subcontract docs.
