Job summary

Scott Humphrey Corporation is seeking a Project Manager in Charleston, SC to lead project teams and drive success across budgeting, planning, scheduling, and quality control. The role focuses on maintaining strong relationships with owners and subcontractors while ensuring projects meet cost and timeline targets.

The ideal candidate will bring a minimum of 6 years in multifamily and commercial construction, with a track record of managing $10M–$60M projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, construction management or related discipline.
• Minimum of 6 years’ experience in multifamily and commercial construction.
• Proven track record delivering projects valued at $10M–$60M.
• Strong communication and stakeholder relationship skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead project team with focus on budgeting, planning, scheduling, quality and owner/subcontractor relationships.
• Organize and participate in project meetings with staff, owners, architects and trade partners.
• Prepare contracts and change orders in a timely fashion.
• Provide monthly variance cost/budget reports to management.
• Ensure safety, staffing and contract documents are followed and projects stay on schedule and within budget.
• Foster repeat business with current clients and assist in close-out documentation.
