Job summary

Bozzuto Construction Company (BCC) invites applications for a Construction Intern to gain hands-on experience in a multifamily construction environment. The 10-week program runs June 7th to August 13th, 2027, with opportunities in Baltimore, Washington DC and Northern Virginia.

Enrollment as a student in civil, architectural, mechanical engineering, or construction management is required, along with strong Excel skills and the ability to read complex contract documents.

Qualifications

• Enrollment as a graduate or undergraduate student in an engineering (civil, architectural, mechanical) or construction management program.
• Strong interest in construction, real estate, architecture and/or development.
• Proficiency with Excel and basic computer applications.
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret contract documents.

Responsibilities

• Compile, present and track submittals and related correspondence.
• Maintain organized contract documents at the site (plans, specs, RFIs, submittals, addenda).
• Estimate and price items related to budget and change orders.
• Prepare and submit RFIs and distribute responses to stakeholders.
• Oversee punch-list items and contribute to close-out activities.
• Coordinate subcontractor activities and two-week look-ahead schedules.
• Draft daily field reports and meeting minutes.
• Track contract timing and key deliverables.
• Maintain accurate as-built drawings on site.
