Job summary

D.R. Horton, Inc., the nation’s largest homebuilder, seeks a Multifamily-Asset Manager to lead lease-up and ongoing management of new multifamily communities. You’ll work with property management teams, guide lease-rate strategies, and ensure smooth operations across sites.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree, 3+ years of relevant experience, a valid driver's license, and strong communication and organizational skills. Travel is frequent.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university.
• Three or more years related experience and/or training.
• Must have a vehicle and a valid driver’s license.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task and excellent organization skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office and email.

Responsibilities

• Primary point of contact with property management (internal or external).
• Oversee multiple lease-ups simultaneously.
• Provide strategic guidance for lease rates and absorption pace.
• Perform on-site property inspections and monitor management effectiveness.
• Create action plans that drive investment performance and valuation.
• Coordinate between property management & construction teams.
• Assist in underwriting rental communities with rent and operating expense assumptions.
