We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Asset Management Associate / Senior Associate to join our dynamic team at a national, vertically-integrated real estate investment manager specializing in acquisitions, development, and asset management within the multifamily and mixed-use sectors.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in real estate analysis, focusing on multifamily properties. Responsibilities include conducting detailed market research, financial modeling, and strategic analysis to support asset management strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Market Research and Analysis:
- Conduct comprehensive market research to identify trends, opportunities, and risks in the multifamily sector.
- Analyze demographic, economic, and real estate data to support investment decisions.
- Develop and maintain financial models to evaluate assets.
- Perform sensitivity analyses and scenario planning.
- Investment Analysis:
- Evaluate potential investment opportunities, including property inspections, due diligence, and financial analysis.
- Prepare investment memorandums and presentations.
- Asset Management Support:
- Assist in developing and executing asset strategies to optimize performance.
- Monitor and report on financial performance, identifying improvements.
- Collaboration and Communication:
- Work with acquisition, asset management, and finance teams to align strategies.
- Communicate findings and recommendations to senior management and investors.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's in Real Estate, Finance, Economics, or related; Master’s or certifications (e.g., CFA, CAIA) are a plus.
- 5+ years of experience in real estate analysis, focusing on multifamily properties.
- Proficiency in financial modeling and analysis, especially Excel.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
- Understanding of market dynamics, valuation, and investment principles.
- Effective communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and in teams in a fast-paced environment.
