BG Staffing is seeking an experienced Apartment Maintenance Technician for a large multifamily community in Park Forest, Illinois. This role involves maintaining apartment homes, common areas, and facilities with minimal supervision.

The position is non-certified, pays $23.00 per hour, and follows a Monday–Friday 9:00 AM–5:00 PM schedule at Park Forest, IL 60466. The ideal candidate will ensure a safe, clean, well-maintained living environment for residents.

Qualifications

• Previous multifamily apartment maintenance experience is required.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
• Must maintain a personal set of tools.

Responsibilities

• Complete resident service requests and maintenance work orders in a timely manner.
• Perform apartment turns and prepare vacant units for new residents.
• Conduct vacant unit inspections and identify repair needs.
• Troubleshoot and repair plumbing-related issues.
• Perform lighting repairs and basic electrical troubleshooting.
• Complete repairs in common areas and amenity spaces.
• Assist with preventative maintenance programs.
• Repair doors, locks, fixtures, cabinetry, drywall, and other building components as needed.
• Maintain the overall appearance, safety, and functionality of the property.
• Communicate effectively with residents, vendors, and management staff.
• Follow all safety policies and property maintenance standards.
