Job summary

TechSource, a Salas O'Brien company, is hiring a full-time mid-level multidiscipline security specialist to join a team performing multidisciplinary Blue Team assessment work for Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA).

You will conduct vulnerability assessments of critical defense infrastructure focusing on Physical Security, Antiterrorism, Operational Security, Insider Threat, and Counter sUAS, collaborating with experts to capture risk analysis and provide recommendations to lower risk.

Qualifications

• Active TS clearance; SCI eligible.
• 2–5 years in security assessments or DoD/military/federal law enforcement.
• Knowledge of DoD force protection and antiterrorism programs.
• Knowledge of access control procedures.
• Knowledge of physical and electronic security systems.
• Willingness to travel ~30% internationally.
• Strong teamwork and written communication skills.

Pay range: $100 - $115,000 annually

TechSource is hiring a full-time mid-level multidiscipline security specialist to join a team performing multidisciplinary Blue Team assessment work for Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA). Blue Team assessments aim to ensure continuity to DoD missions and critical infrastructure by assessing infrastructure vulnerabilities against a broad spectrum of threats including accidents, natural disasters, technological failure, information system attacks, terrorists, radio frequency weapons (RFW), sabotage, and weapons of mass destruction (WMD).

As a multidiscipline security specialist, you will conduct vulnerability assessments of critical defense infrastructure with a focus on Physical Security, Antiterrorism, Operational Security, Insider Threat, and Counter sUAS. Additionally, you will collaborate with other experts on reports to capture comprehensive risk analysis and provide recommendations to lower risk by mitigating vulnerabilities.

You will be working onsite at DTRA Headquarters in Ft. Belvoir, VA. A hybrid work schedule may be offered, based on the team with which you’ll support, but all classified work will be conducted onsite.

Job Summary

What You Will Need

• Active Top-Secret clearance, SCI eligible.
• 2 – 5 years of relevant experience conducting security assessments, managing security operations, nuclear site security, or military / federal law enforcement.
• Knowledge of DoD force protection and antiterrorism programs and requirements, including Navy Master-At-Arms, Air Force Security Forces, or Army Military Police experience.
• Knowledge of access control procedures.
• Knowledge of physical security systems designed to deny and delay, lock and key systems.
• Knowledge of electronic security systems designed to detect and assess intrusion.
• Ability to work in a team environment and a strong desire to learn.
• Strong organizational and written communication skills.
• Ability to travel both domestically and internationally (approximately 30%, 6 - 8 trips a year 2 weeks at a time).

Compensation & Benefits

The expected base salary range for this role is $100,000 - $115,000 annually. Actual compensation will be determined based on factors including skills, experience, qualifications, and location.
