Job summary

Cherokee Millwright, Inc. is seeking a dedicated project manager to oversee complex projects from inception to completion on client sites across the region.

You will coordinate multidisciplinary teams, manage schedules and risks, and ensure safety and quality standards are applied in every phase of the project lifecycle.

You will serve as primary point of contact, chair meetings, and liaise with boards and customers to deliver results on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required.
• At least two years of project management experience.
• Ability to coordinate multidisciplinary technical review teams.

Responsibilities

• As the point of contact on assigned projects, coordinates and manages multidisciplinary technical review teams.
• Facilitates and troubleshoots problems in developing complex systems or coordinating development and design projects.
• Provides skilled technical and management advice to department management and personnel.
• Responds to inquiries about projects.
• Chairs project review and pre-submittal meetings.
• Establishes and maintains liaison with boards, committees and commissions.
• Assists in developing departmental plans, goals, objectives, policies and procedures.
• Performs project design for civil engineering projects.
• Coordinates schedules of staff and other interested parties.

Education

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent

Two years project management experience
