Job summary

Medical Center is seeking a qualified medical technologist to perform comprehensive laboratory testing across Chemistry, Hematology, Coagulation, Urinalysis, Immunology, Microbiology, and Transfusion Services. The role includes troubleshooting instrumentation and ensuring timely, accurate results for patient care.

The candidate must hold a Bachelor's degree in MLS/CLSL and be ASCP certified, with new graduates able to obtain MT/MLS within 6 months.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science, Clinical Laboratory Science, or a related field.
Must be ASCP registered or hold equivalent certification.
New graduates must obtain MT/MLS certification within 6 months of hire.
Ability to perform testing in a fast-paced clinical laboratory environment.
Strong critical-thinking, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

Performs clinical laboratory testing across multiple sections (Chemistry, Hematology, Coagulation, Urinalysis, Immunology, Microbiology, Transfusion Services).
Troubleshoots automated laboratory instrumentation and equipment; reports accurate patient results.
Maintains quality control, safety, and regulatory compliance.
Provides professional and collaborative service to patients, providers, and healthcare team members.
