Qualifications

• Enrolled in an accredited college or university pursuing an MS or BS in Mechanical, Civil, Aerospace, Mining, Computer, Software, Systems, or Electrical Engineering
• Rising Junior or Senior by start of Summer 2027 with GPA 3.0+
• U.S. citizen with ability to obtain and retain a U.S. Top Secret Clearance (if hired full time after graduation)
• Experience or coursework with CAD software package for mechanical design (SolidWorks preferred)
• Fundamental engineering coursework and knowledge
• Excellent written and oral communication skills

Responsibilities

• Support multidisciplinary engineering activities and senior engineers on various projects within the program
• Design and analysis of tools/mechanisms, creation of detailed fabrication drawings, mechanical testing, rapid prototyping and assembly, report and presentation writing, and design review support
• Assist with documentation and reporting using MS Office tools
