Job summary

HD Supply Canada, Inc. in Sacramento, CA (Redi Carpet) seeks a General Warehouse Associate to work across multiple distribution center departments, perform receiving, picking, packing, staging, loading, and replenishment, and operate material handling equipment to move inventory safely.

Ideal candidates have a HS diploma or GED and 2–5 years of related experience, good written comprehension, the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and a commitment to safety.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED strongly preferred.
• 2–5 years of experience in the distribution center environment.
• Ability to read and understand written materials.

Responsibilities

• Use material handling equipment to locate and move products to designated areas.
• Assist with staging and loading orders into trucks for customer delivery.
• Verify quantity and quality of incoming products from vendors and distribution centers.
• Use packing list information to collect items for customer orders and palletize.
• Inspect stock items for wear/defects and notify management of issues.
• Return misplaced products to proper storage areas.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment per company policies.
• Perform inventory control functions as needed.
