Job summary

HD Supply seeks a distribution center associate to operate material handling equipment and work across multiple departments such as receiving, shipping, returns, and order processing. You will move inventory, stage orders, and help load trucks for delivery.

The role requires basic reading skills, safety awareness, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Prior DC experience is preferred. This is a full-time, on-site position in California with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED strongly preferred.
• Specialized skills training/certification may be required.
• Generally 2-5 years of experience in area of responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Operate material handling equipment to move inventory within the facility.
• Locate and deliver products to designated areas using equipment.
• Assist with staging and loading orders into trucks for delivery.
• Verify quantity and quality of incoming products from vendors and DCs.
• Inspect stock items for wear/defects and notify management of issues.
• Return misplaced products to proper storage areas.
• Maintain a clean, safe working environment per policy.
• Perform inventory control as needed.
