Job summary

HD Supply is seeking a warehouse associate to operate across multiple departments in a distribution center, covering case pick, shipping, receiving, returns, loading, order processing, and replenishment. You will move inventory using material handling equipment to support on-time delivery and efficient operations.

The role requires the ability to read and understand written material, maintain safety standards, and participate in inventory control activities.

Qualifications

HS Diploma or GED strongly preferred.
Specialized skills training/certification may be required.
Generally 2-5 years of experience in area of responsibility.

Responsibilities

Use material handling equipment to locate and deliver products to designated areas.
Assist with staging and loading orders into trucks for customer delivery.
Verify quantity and quality of incoming products from vendors and distribution centers.
Use packing list information to collect items for customer orders, including building and wrapping pallets.
Inspect stock items for wear and defects and notify management of inventory issues.
Return misplaced products to proper storage areas.
Maintain a clean working environment in accordance with safety policies.
Perform inventory control functions as needed.
