Job summary

HD Supply seeks a dependable distribution center associate to work across multiple departments including case pick, shipping, receiving, returns and replenishment. You will operate material handling equipment to move inventory and assist with staging and loading orders for delivery.

The role requires an HS Diploma or GED and 2–5 years of distribution experience, with safety awareness and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. On-site, Houston-area work with no travel expected.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED strongly preferred.
• Typically 2–5 years of experience in the area.

Responsibilities

• Uses material handling equipment to locate and deliver products to designated areas.
• Assists with staging and loading orders into trucks for customer delivery.
• Verifies quantity and quality of incoming products from vendors and distribution centers.
• Uses packing list information to collect items for customer orders and builds/wraps pallets.
• Examines stock items for wear/defects and notifies management of inventory issues.
• Returns misplaced products to proper storage areas.
• Maintains a clean working environment per safety policies.
• Performs inventory control functions as needed.
