Job summary

HD Supply seeks a warehouse associate to work across multiple distribution center departments, including case pick, shipping, receiving, returns, loading, and replenishment. You will operate material handling equipment to move inventory within the facility and support staging, packing, and loading for customer deliveries.

Ideal candidates will have a HS Diploma or GED and 2–5 years of related experience, with the ability to understand written material and follow safety policies.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED strongly preferred; specialized skills training/certification may be required.
• Generally 2–5 years of experience in area of responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Uses material handling equipment to move items within the distribution center.
• Assists with staging and loading orders into trucks for delivery.
• Verifies quantity and quality of incoming products from vendors and DCs.
• Picks items, builds and wraps pallets for customer orders.
• Inspects stock for wear/defects and notifies management of inventory issues.
• Returns misplaced products to proper storage areas.
• Maintains a clean, safe work environment per safety policies.
• Performs inventory control functions as needed.
