Job summary

HD Supply Canada, Inc seeks a distribution center associate to work across multiple departments such as case pick, shipping, receiving, returns, loading, order processing and replenishment. You will operate material handling equipment to move inventory within the facility.

Typical duties include staging and loading orders for delivery, verifying received goods, building pallets, inspecting stock, returning misplaced items, and maintaining a safe, clean workspace while supporting inventory

Qualifications

• Experience working across multiple departments in a distribution center.
• Experience operating material handling equipment.
• Ability to read and understand written material.

Responsibilities

• Move inventory within the facility using material handling equipment.
• Assist with staging and loading orders into trucks for delivery.
• Verify quantity and quality of incoming products from vendors and distribution centers.
• Collect items for customer orders and build/wrap pallets for shipping.
• Inspect stock for wear/defects and report inventory issues.
• Return misplaced products to proper storage areas.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Perform inventory control tasks as needed.
