Job summary

Ellwood Texas Forge Houston is seeking a Utility Operator to work across multiple departments and shifts. You may run the 11,000-ton forging press, machine parts for aerospace, operate grinders, or saw Super Alloy material.

Prior experience is not required if you are willing to learn and stay safety-conscious. We offer competitive pay with quarterly bonus eligibility, a 401(k) with employer match, and health/dental/vision coverage plus life and disability benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical work.
• Willingness to learn and safety-focused.
• English reading and following instructions.

Responsibilities

• Assist in safe material handling with cranes and grinders; remove defects per instructions.
• Support saw operations, forge, heat treat, and processing activities as directed.
• Verify saw dimensions/weights using measurement tools; set speed and blade tension.
• Operate saws to cut, slot, groove, and trim parts per specs.
• Grind parts with hand, swing, and automatic grinders per work instructions.
• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance; report defects.
• Handle yard duties: dump scale/scrap, arrange tools, move materials.
• Enter operational data and maintain material traceability.
• Follow safety, health and environmental procedures.
• Perform other duties as required.
