JM Davidson, Inc. is seeking a Multicraft Helper to provide general labor support across mechanical, civil, and structural crews on industrial construction sites. You will assist skilled craft workers by performing a variety of tasks that help maintain productivity, safety, and workflow efficiency.

This role emphasizes safety, ability to follow instructions, basic tool knowledge, and dependable, punctual work. You may lift heavy loads, work outdoors in varied weather, and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED (preferred).
• 6m–2 years of construction or labor experience.
• Ability to follow instructions and work under supervision.
• Basic knowledge of construction tools and materials.

Responsibilities

• Assist skilled trades (carpenters, ironworkers, pipefitters, equipment operators) as directed.
• Transport, load, and unload materials, tools, and equipment.
• Prepare and clean work areas to ensure safe and efficient operations.
• Hold materials and tools for craft workers during installation.
• Perform basic tasks such as measuring, cutting, digging, and assembling under supervision.
• Operate basic hand and power tools safely.
• Assist with site layout, setup, and teardown activities.
• Follow all safety procedures, including proper use of PPE.
• Identify and report hazards or unsafe conditions.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of job site.

• Exposure to heavy equipment, noise, dust, and concrete materials
• Outdoor work in varying weather conditions
