Job summary

Packaging Corporation of America (PCA) is seeking a Maintenance Technician for our North Haven, CT facility. You will diagnose, repair, and service mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems to keep production running smoothly.

The role includes performing preventive maintenance with a multi-craft team, responding to breakdowns, and opportunities to advance through skill levels. A 3-shift production schedule is in place; 2+ years of experience and a US work authorization are

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience troubleshooting and repairing industrial machinery.
• A technical degree in mechanical or electrical trades is a plus.
• Production schedule is 3 shifts; willing to work according to plant needs and seniority.
• Authorized to work in the US.
• Experience in the corrugated packaging or printing industry is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, rebuild, or replace mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems on plant equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance as part of a cross-functional team.
• Respond to and resolve breakdowns in a production environment; training to develop multi-craft skills.
