Job summary

International Paper is seeking a Multicraft Maintenance Technician for the Atglen Container Facility. You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and steam systems, and log maintenance records.

The role requires strong safety practices and teamwork on the 3rd shift (11:00 p.m.–7:00 a.m.). You will collaborate with vendors and subcontractors as needed, while ensuring production continuity and accurate documentation.

Responsibilities

• Model and follow all safety rules and practices.
• Execute preventive maintenance: lubrication, wear measurement, position verification, and component repositioning while monitoring for abnormal noise or vibration.
• Respond to emergency and breakdown situations to support production continuity.
• Use equipment manuals and technical literature to guide diagnostics and repairs.
• Engage vendors and subcontractors when specialized support is required.
• Operate the boiler safely and sustain proper steam pressure.
• Produce complete, accurate maintenance records and associated paperwork.

You’re on it. You consult the manual, trace the fault through electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, or steam systems, and if needed, loop in a vendor or subcontractor to finish the job right.
