Job summary

Helion Group is seeking a Multicraft Maintenance Technician to join our team in Terrell, TX. The role focuses on hands-on maintenance with strong electrical and hydraulic troubleshooting, plus solid mechanical repair capabilities.

You will read and interpret electrical schematics and mechanical drawings, troubleshoot PLC-related issues, and work alongside experienced maintenance leads to learn processes and plant operations while adhering to safety standards.

Qualifications

• Industrial maintenance or manufacturing maintenance experience.
• Strong electrical troubleshooting using a multimeter.
• Experience with 24V–480V electrical systems.
• Basic PLC troubleshooting, inputs/outputs.
• Hydraulic troubleshooting incl. pumps and valves.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints.
• Mechanical repair skills.
• Good problem-solving, strong work ethic, willingness to learn.
• Team-oriented and able to work with maintenance leads.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair industrial equipment and machinery.
• Electrical troubleshooting on systems from 24V to 480V using a Fluke multimeter.
• Troubleshoot basic PLC issues, including inputs/outputs and resetting drives.
• Diagnose and repair hydraulic systems, including pumps and valves.
• Perform mechanical repairs like chains, belts, bearings, etc.
• Read blueprints, mechanical drawings, and electrical schematics.
• Collaborate with experienced maintenance leads to learn equipment and plant operations.
• Follow all safety procedures and maintenance standards.
