Job summary

TaraVista Behavioral Health is hiring a Facilities Technician to perform skilled and semi-skilled maintenance and repair work on building systems and equipment. The role includes wiring, plumbing, HVAC, fixtures, and security components, following codes and manuals.

You may drive a vehicle and respond to tenant maintenance requests through the portal. Successful candidates will have multi-craft maintenance knowledge across carpentry, electrical, heating/cooling, and plumbing.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.
General knowledge of multi-craft maintenance in carpentry, electric, heating/cooling, and plumbing.
Ability to operate tools such as hand and power tools, hammers, hoists, saws, drills, and wrenches; electrical testing devices.

Responsibilities

Performs skilled and semi-skilled maintenance and repair work on facility, equipment or machinery.
Assembles, installs and/or repairs wiring, electrical and electronic components, plumbing/pipe systems, physical structures, fixtures, paint, HVAC systems, locks/access systems, generators, engines, etc.
Diagnoses problems and determines corrective solutions following codes, manuals and catalogs.
Repairs or replaces defective equipment parts using hand tools and power tools; reassembles equipment.
Maintains parts, supplies, and equipment; advises supervisor when supplies need ordering.
May drive vehicle as needed.
Performs job duties related to tenant requests on web portal building maintenance system.
