Job summary

Aerotek in Athens, AL is seeking a Multi-craft Maintenance Technician to diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on complex mechanical and electrical systems. The role is contract to hire and fully onsite, with compensation in the $30.00–$40.00/hr range and opportunities to advance within a growing manufacturing environment.

You will work with motors, gearboxes, pumps, valves and read schematics, supported by a team of experienced professionals and comprehensive

Qualifications

Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems.
Ability to work with 480 volts and use a multimeter.
Read and interpret blueprints and electrical schematics.
Familiarity with hydraulics and pneumatics.

Responsibilities

Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues.
Perform repairs and preventative maintenance on motors, gearboxes, pumps, belts, and bearings.
Change out motors and repair or replace gearboxes.
Follow a preventative maintenance schedule to ensure operational efficiency.
Read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
Work with hydraulics, pneumatics, wires, and cabling.
